With the portal additions of Larkins, Minor, and Miller I have CCC and staff at 80 scholarships - 5 open- going into the fall with 10 former scholarship athletes in the portal as of today (Lowry, Howland, Perry, Boehler, Miller (TE), Larkins, Blidi, Casey, Jones, and Minor (LB).). You know what.. I don't think I added the Austin Peay, most recent transfer into my thought process. I'm 99% sure you're right, 5 schollies... wouldn't surprise me if 2-3 more leave, though, and we end up with 7-8 to play with.

I'm not sure if it's accurate, but 247 was showing Trey Laing as a scholarship guy. He recently committed to EMU though so not sure if that matters to your numbers or not.

I am with you, I expect CCC to fill at least 7-8 spots in the coming weeks....maybe more.  It was clear to me last night that the talent infusion must continue on this roster (specifically on the defensive side) to reach the staff's expectations.

Candidly, I assumed he would take a step-down and go MWC to build up his value.

I was a big fan of his coming out of New Pal - I wouldn't turn down the commit.

Unrelated, but I  am seeing Holloman is now in the poooorrtal.  Leaves CCC with 78 scholarships for next year and nine former scholarship players in the portal.
