Todd41 Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 Rutgers has been hot down the stretch and playing with confidence. That said, we should get through the game relatively easy if we stay aggressive and smart. Quote
TheWatShot Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 I want to run up the score on them for dodging us the past two seasons. Todd41 and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 @LamarCheeks game thread had already been started but you're forgiven and we'll run with yours. No idea why but Kiandra Browne is with the team but not in uniform today so Chloe should get lots of minutes today. We definitely have to stay out of foul trouble today. Quote

Sorry -- didn't see it anywhere. Thought we should keep up with the ladies. Class of '66 Old Fart 1 Quote

TheWatShot Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Knee-jerk reaction, but I don't see this team getting back to the Elite 8. Quote
Aaron Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Gulbe and Cardano-HIllary not hitting shots and Holmes still not 100%. Recipe for closer than needed game. Quote
LamarCheeks Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Berger sinks the 15-footer to put the nail in the coffin -- even after getting the ball knocked loose on the way up. I've said this before -- and I'm not kidding: I think she's the most skilled player on an IU basketball roster. Stuhoo, Chris007 and Class of '66 Old Fart 3 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 With Gulbe's time limited by fouls and already a thin bench we needed Chloe to step up. She played 28 min. scoring just 4 points but she grabbed 5 rebounds, 3 assists; 1 steal and only committed 1 TO. Quote
LamarCheeks Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 IU wins. We get the Twerps again tomorrow. Quote
JerryYeagley23 Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Good to see Ali continue to find her shooting stroke, but Mack just looks like a shell of herself and that's going to make it tough for this really talented team to make as much noise in the tourney. With how thin our rotation is, it honestly might not be a bad thing if we don't win four games in four days and can rest for next weekend. Quote
Aaron Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Did enough. Ali had her best game in a while which was absolutely needed. Grace was good as usual. That was enough today against a Rutgers team that cannot score. Need everyone to be good tomorrow to have chance. Quote
