IU Soccer NCAA Tournament

Recommended Posts

Selection Show about to happen at 1pm on NCAA.com.

I predict we get we get the 13 (our RPI) opposite No.4 Notre Dame and we head to South Bend for a Sweet 16 rematch. That win is the only top team we beat this year and will be why we have a bye and top 16 seed. Not sure what unseeded team we get in our home game next weekend.

Most brutal draw possible.

Louisville or Bowling Green are no joke and hardest second round game in a while. Traveling all the way to Seattle (when many closer options were available) sucks against maybe the best team in country. Duke would be just as hard in Elite 8. Only break is if we get to head to paper tiger SLU for Elite 8 because they pull an upset but don't expect it.

We have the talent to do this in one game scenario, but this is hardest draw I have seen us get since at least 2015 by a large margin.

HUGE NEWS

Jared Kelly -

Chaos in the NCAA men's soccer tournament.  Maryland falls to LIU in the opening round, and Bowling Green pulls off the road stunner against Louisville.  It'll be Indiana vs. Bowling Green in the Second Round on Sunday at Noon.  Armstrong Stadium.

That helps some. Louisville is better than Bowling Green so we get an easier match-up. With that said Bowling Green is still solid and IU will need to be at their best. This is not quite the same drop off as when we faced Northwestern instead of Maryland in Big Ten Tournament.
