Ball St PF Preston Copeland enters the portal. Had an IU offer under the previous staff, but it always felt like one of those WTH offers along the lines of William Jobe. Went nowhere and he ended up at Ball State where he averaged 4/4 as an occasional starter.

He may have entered the portal, but unless he gets a waiver from the NCAA, he doesn't have any eligibility left.  Don't see any cause for him to get a waiver.

His redshirt freshman year he only played in 9 games and his sophomore year he only played 6.  The redshirt freshman year he played games in the second half of the season so likely couldn't get that year, but his sophomore year all 6 games were in the first half of the year so he might be able to use that as a second redshirt year.

Just message board stuff. I’m not an insider. That why is said we will see if the rumors were true. Claims were he came and watched a couple IU games this year etc. But Stevens and Billy Donovan also were looking for a horse farm on Bloomington. Lollol

Anyone know anything about Michael Cooper, at Wright State. Freshman from Jeffersonville. 6'3/185lbs, averaged 13.4 pts, shot 36.4% from three and 41.1% from three in league play

Was combing an Indy star list of Indiana High School Players now playing D1, looking to see if anyone stood out.

Was a high school teammate of Tre Singleton. Word around town is the two are interested in playing with one another next year.

Cooper's fellow freshman teammate at Wright State Kellen Pickett is from Fort Wayne. Was Horizon League Freshman of the Year.
