Stuhoo Posted February 18, 2021 Author Posted February 18, 2021 Robbins likely out. Kalschuer is their best defensive guard. Tough news for Minnysoter. Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Reports are coming out that Robbins is in uniform and going through warm-ups. Quote
Stuhoo Posted February 18, 2021 Author Posted February 18, 2021 If both Robbins and Kalschuer were out that would be about 30% of their total per game minutes missing. Quote

Could be seeing how he looks in warm ups. But he has not played well the last three games -- 7 of 24 from the field with 12 fouls in a total of 62 minutes. Sounds like a stat line of a guy who was trying to play through an ankle injury and it just really came to a head last game. FWIW, it was a reaggravation of a previous injury on January 30th....so he probably never really got through it. Something to watch IF he does play: 26 fouls in the last 6 games. If it doesn't, and we find ourselves out of the running for the tournament, time to give Landers more time for development sake. Quote

I was against cutting Robs minutes in favor of Kristian because I was afraid we’d lose Rob mentally. I don’t think we can afford it if he was to check out. Eventually it gets old waiting for a guy to figure out if he wants to be the point guard of the Indiana basketball team. He need to show it tonight.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

I wish it was more of an inconsistency thing because that would mean he would be showing more flashes. He's only topped 12 points twice this year. The defense is there but we need him to both distribute and score. Quote
