Wow, just noticed Maryland beat UConn 85-78.

Injuries on UCONN and Maryland (not as much).  Watched part of game.  Both teams were kind of ok.  Both, very beatable as long as a solid opponent is clicking a little to some.

On tonight's radio show --

Grace Berger is "making progress" according to Teri Moren on her radio show.. "This week is going to be a real tell-tale of when we are going to get her back." Moren went on to say that Hoosier fans should start to get excited for Grace's return.

NOTE:  Tonight's show was not a live broadcast but taped at an earlier date.

Coach Moren keeps saying “when” Berger will be back, not “if.”

N.W.?

Post game vs Nebraska assistant coach Box I think indicated very soon there was going to be addition to lineup.  Plus Brown ought to be near as well.

So I decided to take a look at our conference schedule. Holy crap, the Big Ten gave us a huge middle finger with this one.

The women's teams play 18 games, 5 teams twice and 8 teams once. Purdue is a protected rivalry, so we always get them twice. Our other four home and homes are OSU, Michigan, Iowa and Illinois. The first three of those are currently ranked #3, #14 and #16. Illinois received the most votes of the unranked teams.

Compare this to Purdue, who gets Minnesota, PSU, Northwestern and MSU twice along with us.

I don't have any data to back this up, but on paper, it would appear we have the hardest schedule of anyone in the conference.

Well, an IU Ladies conference championship would leave no doubt.  Then, turn around and win big ten tournament to confirm.  Tough one.

We do have a tough run and the finish is crazy with Iowa, OSU, Michigan, Purdue then finish with Iowa.
