There is a thread for her as Brandon Clay Scouting reported an IU offer back in May; however, there was never any confirmation of such offer. She attends Crestwood Prep in Toronto. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted September 29 Author Posted September 29 Not IU related. Tough break for the young lady. Southern Cal WBB junior guard JuJu Watkins will sit out the 2025-26 season to focus on recovering from the torn ACL she sustained during the 2025 NCAA Tournament GloryDays 1 Quote
TTT Posted September 29 Posted September 29 UCONN with the land of giants and players like A. Shade and they are all 5 stars or close to 5 stars and don’t even recruit that hard really….UCONN just gets a lot of what it wants. Hahaha. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted September 30 Author Posted September 30 The following is a series of tweets with quotes from CTM from Michael Nizieolek from an informal media day session. "We only have four returners, rest are new faces, it's been an exciting summer for us, we've gotten off to a fairly decent start from an official practice start..." she adds they are probably playing more kids than in the past "We have interesting pieces....we are more athletic than we were a year ago" "Yes, we got more athletic, but I think the jury is still out if we can be as efficient as we've become accustomed to from the outside" "Are they high character? Are they a winner?" characteristics she looks for from players on the recruiting trail, "we are excited about the '26 class we put together" "There's intention behind how we build our roster" Indiana women's basketball coach Teri Moren says her staff spoke with the football team about revenue-share and how they establish positional values/distribute money," "A year ago our locker room wasn't in great shape...." says its better now, "we are all in alignment with the goals, values and what the standards are" and Lenee Beaumont is really taking charge of that." Indiana women’s basketball will be sending Shay Ciezki and Lenée Beaumont to B1G Media Days next week. WayneFleekHoosier, HoosierHoopster, Stuhoo and 3 others 3 3 Quote

Another notable player that’s not here this year you didn’t name. Interesting she’s talking about 2026 class when 2025 girls would seem poised to contribute. Won’t hear Moren ever mention her again either. Garzon had so much drama surrounding her; and whether it was her fault or not, that’s a serious challenge for a coach. I’m not privy to the players that were most challenging, but odds frequently are that it’s the ones that think they should be playing more minutes and have big personalities. So that’s LaMendola to a tee. Quote

She’s talking recruiting. She’s been saying they need to get more athletic and bigger. She’s commenting on the progress in that direction Quote

TTT Posted October 1 Posted October 1 It would be hard for IU Ladies not to be more athletic than last year. In recent pic Garzon looks a little more filled out and in love with Brenda F. and Mary. Quote

Unsure which players bonded with her. Pretty much a Trust in Moren situation at all times for me. She’s been knocked by some since the early days for transfers but she’s about culture and fit and that’s very important. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app J34 and Stuhoo 2 Quote

Hear you. But in context she’s talking recruiting. A year ago doesn’t talk about what the 4 returning plsyers are. That’s the current group of 25s Quote

Can’t say that I disagree. I am interested that in 5 years who’s names will be on the locker room alumni board? Will it continue with coaching era changes and then who’s names will be on the alumni board years down the road. By then I will be approaching a 100 years old and won’t even know.
