IU Football 2019 Recruiting Class

Yeah it looks like we'll end up with 21 recruits in this class plus maybe a grad transfer or two. Overall, the class is currently ranked 38th nationally based on 247 rankings. This will likely be the highest rated signing class in school history (at least since recruiting services became a thing). 

Just as a simple exercise, if you find a quarterback of similar rating as Jack Tuttle (who was a 4-star (0.9321 score) in last year's class) and add it to this class (I used 4-star Washington QB Commit Dylan Morris), the class ranking would jump from 38th to 33rd nationally.

Neither are coming. Allen announced Weaver and Sanguinetti as "closing out" its 2019 class. Jones likely goes to Ohio St.

Or you can add Jack Tuttle to the 2018 class.  Which I did and that class jumped from 49 to 42.

You would more than likely need to add everyone's transfers to get a valid ranking with Tuttle.

8th ranked class in conference. 5th in the east division ahead of Maryland and Rutgers.

Great gosh almighty this is a good class. I tend to look at the offers our recruits had when they chose IU; there are a lot of SEC school-offered players and far fewer "East Wyoming State" kids than usual.

Great pickup. I am happy we got him. Knew we were top but when home state school came knocking it started to shift, glad he enjoyed his visit this past weekend. His case was interesting. He is going to enroll and be eligible this fall, but he could’ve changed classes to next year. Glad to get a somewhat experienced DL since we will have youth there inside. Great get by Allen and Co. kudos
