@Aaron

Have you heard anymore updates on Manous? That would be a heck of an arm to add back to our arsenal.

No sorry. Just heard he is close but no timeframe has been given to me unfortunately.

The university may choose not to follow suit but starting Monday, Monroe County will have no gathering limit or mask mandate. Masks may still be needed in some situations, including at businesses that choose to require them.

Not sure if I'm allowed to be critical of IU or not...

But.. we should have had fans in attendance for awhile now, hoping that's the case next weekend.

Don’t get me started on IU “policies”

Oh it's ridiculous. DISNEY WORLD just ended their mask mandate and I can't even watch a freaking IU baseball game in person.

Tennessee had 3400 at their game last night vs Arkansas. Couple that with the fact BTN won't even play baseball games on their regular channel... why would any kid go play baseball in the B1G? Beats me.

Remember @btownqb I'm just the messenger.

Zach Osterman - Despite the relaxation of COVID-related policies in Monroe County, including mask requirements and crowd-size limits, the remainder of IU Athletics' home events this academic year will stay closed to all but team family and support staff.

Smh all I've got at this point.

Mercer livid with IU's decision to not allow fans. Solely on IU as it has been for weeks.

Indiana University, man. As much as I love them, it’s sad to see them make the decisions they make. This turns political for me, so I’ll stop there. My bigger point, it shouldn’t be so obvious the political affiliations of a University.

L-O-L

The NCAA is going 100% attendance for the tourney in baseball and softball. I hate IU and the B1G and their righteousness.

Just because I love ya man. Skip to the end and watch a walk off in front of a capacity crowd :)

haha I figured you did. Was pretty awesome

That kid has a flare for the dramatic. Did the same thing vs Missouri the previous weekend. UT has some dudes at the plate.

Btw.. Manning, Rick Barnes, and Josh Heupel were all in attendance at the game. No masks. Manning was drinking a bud light tall boy.  He also threw out the first pitch. Which naturally was a rocket.

Some of you might have been worried about Colson Montgomery planning to go to the MLB after HS. That is not his case anymore as he officiallies signed his NOI tonight with the us

I don't think that precludes you from getting drafted. He could very well come to IU in end, but if he is drafted I don't believe him signing his letter here stops him from going to pro's. It more gives him option to do either. Will be harder to get drafted with only 20 rounds though.

Correct.

There was even a comment on Twitter.. it read "and maybe another signing come July." So this thing isn't over yet.. completely going to depend on the guaranteed money. I do think he's leaning towards coming to campus, no one really knows though.

One thing that will work for us is that he will be a draft eligible SO. I would think that would be more intriguing than the full 3 years most kids have to be on campus.
