BIG TEN AND SCHOOL RECORD! IU's Vini Lanza takes 3rd in the Championship Final of the 100 butterfly with a Big Ten and school record time of 44.50!

Vini Lanza is the first Hoosier to place top-8 in the 100 butterfly in back-to-back seasons since Jim Hersey in 77-78!  Best finish for a Hoosier in the event since Gary Hall took second in 1973!

WOW, just WOW!

Ian Finnerty is the first to go sub-50 seconds in the 100 yd breast stroke. Of course, he's the NCAA champion.

IU's Levi Brock with a personal-best time of 51.38 to finish 5th overall in the Championship Final of the 100 breaststroke!

The men are certainly doin' their thing tonight.

NCAA CHAMPION!

Ian Finnerty wins the NCAA title in the 200 breaststroke with a Big Ten and school record time of 1:50.17!

First Hoosier in history to win NCAA in both the 100 and 200 breast in same year!

Finnerty wins the 200 breast stroke, giving IU the mens/womens clean sweep.

Texas and Cal's depth and our comparative lack of it is catching up. Cal has 3 finalists in the 200 fly(we only have Lanza) and Texas and IU have a platform diver in the finals before the final relay race in which all 3 are in the finals.

Standings: Texas 390, Cal -25.5, IU -26
