Final:  Barr-Reeve  72     Tindley   25    and yes, that's the actual score.      Barr-Reeve outscored TIndley 25-1 in the 3rd Q and 48-9 for the 2nd half.

Barr-Reeve is ridiculous for a 1A school. Same with Blackhawk in 2A. I can't remember a season where it felt like the state champions were easier to pick back in November than this one.

Proud 2002 graduate from Barr-Reeve here. We always have good teams but this team is special.

What a comeback.  Leo defeats St. Joe 61-59.  They trailed 35-19 at the half.  They score the winning bucket with 1.3 on the clock.

So many games this season Law. No. has come from behind to win and they did it again today defeating Bloomington South 54-52.  Jack Keefer and J. R. Holmes with a combined 1,708 wins.

Gary West Side season's ends with a 53-50 loss to Carmel.  Carmel will battle Lawrence North for the 4A title.  Carmel won the game they played earlier in the season.

C. J. Gunn had 9 pts. in Lawrence North's win earlier today against Bloomington South.

Note, there's a 2-week break before the state finals to accomodate the NCAA tournament in Indpls.

BR’s only two losses were to Carmel and Blackhawk Christian both in overtime. They handled everyone else the rest of the season easy minus rivals North Daviess and Loogootee whom they beat narrowly. The had a rematch with North Daviess in sectional semifinal and then beating Loogootee in the final. All 3 ranked top 4 in 1A and a very tough sectional. I doubt Kouts has played a team like them this season. IU showed interest in Curt Hopf as a freshmen but moved on and the he transferred to Barr-Reeve and SR Brycen Graber is the state’s all time assist leader breaking the record right before sectional. Should be a fun game for the 1A state title.
