Not nearly as bad as Crean but he is sure stubborn on who gets minutes. Smith absolutely deserved to finish out the game.

I think he literally subs someone in every chance he can. Granted some of Creans  bench lineups were horrendous

Smith does well boxing out. He looked shell shocked vs Duke then his minutes declined. Like what I see tonight in limited play

His biggest problem is finishing inside. Doesn't or can't go up strong enough

The rotation on his jumper is all sorts of funked up.

I know he shot it fairly well in HS, but he has funky shooting it in an IU uni.

It looks like he has no range with that form. Both those shots we're super flat.

Much better defensive effort tonight. The battle for the middle of the conference standings is going to be brutal. We'll see who wants it more. If McRoberts (I think he is in the rotation to stay) can get comfortable from three, our inside game will get easier.

Newkirk played a good game,  missed a few to start but then got hot.

DEFLECTIONS... great job by DeVonte on the defensive side of the floor tonight with a sprinkle of offense.

Zack showing confidence.. took more shots this game than probably the whole season combined. And hit a few.

Smith looked bad... then hit a shot and it was like a shot of confidence went through him,  effort increased,  body language improved.

Moore shooting 3s? Don't get it... no wonder he's not getting minutes.
