I was trying to forget how Allen became the HC.  Our AD hired a guy with no HC experience because he couldn't be bothered to do his job and conduct an actual search.

Here's the difference in the game.

"Special" teams
- twice kicking it out of bounds on kickoffs
- blocked punt
- shanked punts

Offense
- run north/south get yards
- hold onto the ball

Defense
- wrap up and tackle
- put Fant on Moore

We need this game in a bad way. I don't like how the team makes dumb play after dumb play. It seems we don't learn from previous weeks.

Heck, I don't even dislike Allen.  It doesn't get much dumber than hiring a guy with no HC experience because you didn't want to do your job.  IU needs a new AD in a bad way.

I just can't understand how we didn't do our due diligence. Made the emotional, popular local hire versus weighing all options.

I didn't like the Wilson firing when it happened. I understand that it was necessary, but we took a step backwards firing him and promoting Allen.
