I hate to sound insensitive, but was this really necessary? I've never heard of a game getting cancelled a week after a hurricane, especially when it wasn't in the area affected.

I'm guessing the game isn't going to be made up.. This doesn't bode well for our bowl chances.

Nope but we are looking for FCS or schools off that weekend. GT. Tennessee are two big schools off that weekend. FCS has a ton. I'm not going to list all

If we schedule a different team, then that team ends up playing an extra game. Is that allowed?

 

It pretty much has to be FCS. No Power 5 team is going to give up a bye week to play a road game.

I hope its an FCS team for two reasons. First is personal and I am on vacation that weekend and cannot watch. Also FIU was scheduled as an easy win so I would like another easy win to replace it (obviously FIU is FBS but they are bad so its pretty similar) not a Georgia Tech or any other tougher game that we could lose.

Georgia Tech canceled their game against UCF and will be off on Oct. 7th but I do not want a game against them...so hard to prepare for that offense, it would almost guarantee a loss.

Only thing is that we would play a triple option in GA southern. At least have some prep. I think it would be a very entertaining game.
