Any update on Westbrook? I assume this isn't a good sign since he got the MRI on Friday but maybe just waiting until Monday to announce before/after practice.

He was able to walk off the field so I'm hoping we get some good news here in the next few days.

At least he will get a redshirt. Still brutal  based on losing him on a play he shouldn't have been in on. CTA won't do that again.

He said he will. Many other teams do it. Alabama's starting running back blocked a punt on Saturday. And even if you want to get technical, Westbrook wasn't even a starter. He was put on special teams to motivate him to perform better and become a starter, just like any other backup.

Bama is not a good comparison. They have the most depth out of any team in college football. We don't. And even though he wasn't a starter, that doesn't mean he wouldn't have been one. He had 1k yards last year and is a playmaker that makes us better. If you don't have someone else out of your 85 guys that can do something as simple as cover a kickoff that's a problem.

We very well may have the most depth at WR in the conference.

Yeah I really don't think Lagow was an issue for us... It was more us getting torched offensively. The fumble isn't his fault, he got smacked from behind. His 2nd INT was at the end of the game when we basically had to force the ball down the field.

His first INT hurt, a lot, but we were winning at the end of the first half. It wasn't the reason we lost.

Saw on comment section for IU/UVA game. People (UVA fans) are saying that they will blow us up because we allowed 600 yards. And that we will be shut down because of their pass def allowed like 70 yards passing against William and Mary. I'm sorry. But I just can't.

I'm not overly confident. I think UVA might get us.

Trying to find something to convince me we can be 2 dimensional. Otherwise we go on the road with a predictable offense and a QB that can be tricked into INTs.

Our defense looked so good for 2 quarters. Nonexistent for 2 quarters. Jekyll and Hyde.

Not sure what IU is this year, but this won't be an easy win.

I don't think it will be an easy game...but I think we win.  I don't think we will get steamrolled like uva fans are saying.

Regardless of which side of the Lagow fence you're sitting on, in a few days we get a chance to see him against a team more comparable to our skill level. If he plays well and looks improved then I'll happily start to eat my crow. If he doesn't.. Well then I think we'll be in for a bumpy season my friends..
