Also in B1G play, IU 324 FT attempted. Opponents 341 FT made.

When you don't learn to play proper position individually or as a team, over help, and reach in constantly for the almighty deflection IT LEADS TO STATS LIKE THESE.

Crean on Josh Newkirk: "Unfortunately what no one here is seeing right now is the quickness he had before the injury."

Geez, Newkirk was damaged merchandise when CTC game him a scholly.

You know the saddest thing to me about this whole season?

Thomas Bryant. It's a kid that REALLY wants to win. Really wants to be great. Trusts his coach undoubtedly. Gets beaten up by opposing teams and our fanbase. (I get it. He flops, whines, etc.).

To me he is just a young kid trying to do big things. His coach let him down on multiple levels. He has not been coached to his strengths. He's been greatly let down and I feel bad about it, because to me he wants to Win so bad.

UW lost their point guard for the better part of two games and is still playing hurt....lost both games he sat, and one more he was ineffective while playing through it. But, what good is a point guard anyway?

Did they say during the O$U game that he's dropped 20 pounds? I swear that's what I heard. The kid's weight needs to be going the other direction.

I agree with everything you said though. I'm glad he came here and helped us win a Big 10 title last year, but he would've been better off going somewhere else. I feel like that's the case with all the post players we get. He could be a beast if he had a coach that would park him on the block and make sure he eats enough.
