It was said he would be 'taking time off' after Wrestlemania.  I think he'll try to go the John Cena/Rock route, get in the movie business and just occasionally show up at large WWE events.

Maybe. He's older than the Rock was when Rock started his full time acting career. Reigns had a bout with Leukemia too since he started WWE.

He's already got a small parts in a few films to his credit

Becky being women's champ is just.... Blah. She's boring. Actually... She just sucks. Her in ring, mic, persona... All sucks. But I figured Jade Cargill will be facing her soon enough.

The problem is there has been zero character development that they've done with her since she peaked.  Would have perhap them to put the title on Liv Morgan as a placeholder.  Morgan isn't a great in ring performer but she is good enough and there is no one in the WWE that is more of a wrestling fan than her.  She's worked with what they've given her.  She's not meant to be some long term title holder but with Ripley out, they should have used Liv to transition the title to an up and comer.

Worst thing they could do is yet another Becky Lynch/Charlotte Flair story line.  Flair is a good in ring worker but the constant put-her-at-the-top-of-the-card moments are getting boring.  EDIT:  Looks like she still has a ways to go on her knee recovery.

I was hoping for Liv Morgan. At least put a personality behind the belt. Becky's whole schtick is that she's somehow powerful but tiny. But it just looks terrible. Should have went with Liv and in the meantime, build the Jade storyline to her winning and then the comeback of the Ripley to with that down the road. Having Becky won it... Seems lazy. Really the only thing I've disagreed with so far in the HHH era.

I think the biggest problem was the participants in the match. There wasn't a single believable participant besides Becky Lynch, which I think was due to the imbalance of females rosters on Raw and Smackdown. Smackdown has 5+ females who could've been booked to win that match. You could argue for Liv, I guess, but I'm just not a big fan of hers and it makes more sense to have her lose, lean into that heel turn and beat Becky one-on-one for the championship. She's going to lose it to a returning babyface Rhea Ripley anyways.

Jade Cargill will own eventually.

Agree. I just can't get over how amazing this Bloodline story is. It's already been going on for a few years and now it will easily go another year when this Civil War storyline takes off. Has to be one of the best storylines in WWE history. Quite possibly the best.

I missed a huge chunk of the Bloodline story but the switch to Solo being a heel is great. Not that he wasn't already a hell, but now it's on his own accord. And we now have Gunther going extra heel as well.

I hope that they don’t just have Tama Tonga play the old Solo Sikoa role when Solo was Roman’s henchmen.  Tama’s role in New Japan Wrestling during his bullet club takeover was really good….need to run him as a monster alongside Solo until they eventually split.

I liked how they brought along Andrade.

Yeah, thought it was important that they didn't just bring him in to get loss after loss and put people over.  Seemed Vince would do that with a lot of returning talents as kind of a 'punishment' for leaving.

With Triple H running the show you could see people getting pushes that wouldn't have under Vince. McMahon was integral in turning WWE into a global machine instead of his father's regional show but he had his idea of a superstar and if you didn't fit that ideal it was going to be more difficult for you, but if you did he'd push you hard.

He also had a tendency to not like things he didn't create, see the joke run for DDP and Sting losing every solo match.

Right now he's pushing Priest which makes no sense because he's garbage. And he's going to ride the Cody train for who knows how long. Then last night, the cringe returns with the Wrong Turn family.

I don’t really agree that Priest is trash, but let’s see how Rollins/Priest plays out.

personally I just hope they don’t put a strap on the trash human being that is CM Punk but you know at some point that if Punk can stay healthy for 7 days (which may be never) that they will.

They'll give Punk his time. I can't stand Priest. God awful on the mic, in ring is very meh. Dom is the only guy in Judgement Day worth anything and that's because everyone actively hates him. And at this point, they hate him even more for getting so close to Liv Morgan lol.

I just don't get the Punk love.  Meh wrestler who had one mic moment years ago.  Absolute joke when he went and tried the UFC.  It's no secret the number of guys that have worked with him that can't stand him.  Always hurt and always pointing fingers at other people who actualy ARE showing up and performing week after week.

Prince Devitt era of Finn Balor was a pretty interesting era.  He does have a pretty good moveset that WWE doesn't really utilize.  His problem is he isn't good on the mic which is necessary for a wrestler his size.

I think Punk is just good enough on the mic to let him be around and he works as a heel that people like in a weird way. I think there was a lot of bad talent that got boosted up during the PG era and they just aren't fitting anymore. I don't have a big problem with Balor, Dom or the bobblehead. Dom works more so out of the Ring of course. But the 3 of them aren't bad in the ring. Priest is just a generic big guy who is monotone and God awful on the mic.

Now I didn't watch from 2008ish to November 2023. So I basically missed the entire PG, soft era(thankfully). The talent overall definitely dropped from what it was when I was watching in the mid 2000s and I think that's why a guy like Randy Orton and Punk are working for fans. Triple H just has to push the right guys. Right now it's Cody, Sami and Priest. Cody and Sami are basically the exact same person with boring finishers but both win the same way. Get murdered and make a miracle comeback. Priest gets help from interference in every win.

I don't like the push of Sheamus. I didn't watch him in his prime but right now he is miserable to watch. Slow, out of shape and can't even move his neck around. But I have liked watch Braun return because I think it's just funny watching Judgement Day run away every Monday. And Bron Breakker... That's something to push as a heel. But they have to let him win and actually hold belts. Can't have a Chad Cable being a heel as a complete loser and goodwill Kurt Angle.
