Oh these first time posters are always showing off.   lol.

Great way to start posting on btb.  Keep'em coming Todd41.

I have been lurking for awhile.  My daughter was a year ahead of Mack in high school and I have been watching her play since she was in 3rd grade.

Keeping tabs on women's recruiting is a whole different element than with the men.  So little information.  Back in Sept. 2017, we offered '22 Ayanna Patterson from Homestead HS in Fort Wayne.  She's going to announce her committment on March 20, and we're one of her 5 finalists.  Her brother, Andre Patterson, Jr., played at UCLA and Tennessee (2001-2006) and their father played at New Mexico State (1983-1985)

Captain obvious here, she’s really good!

Right now Homestead in on a streak. They are a big and popular Fort Wayne school but they rarely have standouts in basketball. Right now, Luke Goode, Fletcher Loyer, and her.

Ayanna Patterson named to the Indiana Junior All-Star team.

Indiana All-Star game director Mike Broughton said the Junior All-Stars were pared from 18 to 12 this year because there will be just one game for the team, played on June 9 against the senior Indiana All-Stars at a site to be announced later. In previous years, the Junior All-Stars have played exhibition games against the Kentucky Junior All-Stars.

The Indiana All-Star games against Kentucky will be played on June 11 (in Kentucky) and June 12 (at Southport Fieldhouse).

Ayanna Patterson, Homestead:  The 6-3 Patterson averaged 21.8 points and 11 rebounds per game for Homestead, which was 20-6 and reached the 4A regional final. She is considering Indiana, Notre Dame, Louisville, UCLA and UConn.

Top-80 ranked 2022 WBB prospect Imarianah Russell, 5-11 W, Reynoldsburg HS (OH), has announced her top five schools: Indiana, Ole Miss, Ohio, Ohio State, and West Virginia.

Hudl

From Feb. 2021:  During the Reynoldsburg girls basketball team’s 73-31 victory over Gahanna on Feb. 2, junior guard Imarianah Russell scored the 1,000th point of her prep career.   Russell, who spent her first two seasons at Dublin Coffman before joining the Raiders this winter, needed 11 points heading into the game and finished with 22.

She has been averaging 21.5 points for Reynoldsburg, which is 10-4 and received the No. 3 seed for the Division I district tournament.   Russell averaged 17 points as a freshman and 12 last season.   “It was exciting,” Russell said. “I’ve been waiting for this.”

Oct. 2020 from a Girls Hoops Proving Ground event in Ohio:   Imarianah Russell (5’11 G / Reynoldsburg / 2022):  Mari can flat out HOOP. Whether it is pushing the ball in transition, pulling up from three, finishing at the rim or delivering the perfect pass, Russell excels. She is consistent on both the offensive and defensive glass and is constantly working for better position. Russell already holds offers from several Power 5 schools including Ohio State, West Virginia, Penn State and Ole Miss. Moving to Reynoldsburg from Dublin Coffman where she was a standout performer for two years, Russell will provide a major impact for a Lady Raiders program that is as talented as any in the state.

From Sep. 2020 -  Imarianah Russell '22 is 5'11" PG/SG attending Dublin Coffman HS in Dublin, OH.   She is rated #75 by PrepGirlsHoops.com.  She was named Honorable Mention for Ohio Division 1 girls basketball last season.
