Kevin Wilson other rumors

This had been hush-hush a few years ago on the old site, but now that he is gone can someone confirm or elaborate on some of the rumors that were floating around the program and Bloomington regarding Kevin Wilson's drinking problem? Had this issue been resolved over the last few seasons because I remember everyone alluding to something his first few years at IU.

It's pretty much accepted information within the HS football community that Wilson has a problem. Take that for what it's worth. I've never met the guy. Just telling you what my colleagues have told me.

When you say dropped that do you mean he had that problem but overcame or something else. I had heard he had success overcoming but assumed reading between the lines that something like that came back.

Dropped the bar scene and going out and getting belligerent. Guess he just used to go out by himself sometimes and just get plastered. But don't know if it's fact just have heard on several occasions. I mean he could have had a bottle at the stadium for all I know. I had a professor who kept a crystal container of vodka (he's Russian) in his desk and would go to his office during the 20 min break between our 2hr class.

I'll never understand why he was rooming in McNutt to begin with. 

They had him in the guest suite the first week or so that he was here on campus. It's actually really nice and used for important people that come and stay for awhile.

By no means your typical dorm room.
