Can we get rid of Cliff Marshall yet

Yep. Just another guy who bashed anybody who gets offended, and then proceeds to get offended. Hopefully the Door Dash gig is still going well for him.

At least half of Kentucky residents don’t know it’s a state.

Missouri’s coach said something to the effect of his record will be better after Tennessee has to vacate its wins.

Apparently Missouri’s coach said something on the Jim Rome Show during the off-season that UT’s coach didn’t like.

Would we even want to keep Allen as DC? As bad as the offense is, the defensive rankings are even worse, with more talent on that side of the ball. No player development whatsoever.

I’m sure the new TV contract will give us more money to spend. It will also give all the other Big 10 schools more money. So will it really help close the gap? I will get out of my question-asking mode just to state that the game day atmosphere is mostly on the fans, and very little on the administration. And yes, I understand that it’s difficult to expect fans to support a program that’s been so bad for so long. I find it difficult to support myself. But the administration isn’t responsible for fans staying out of the stadium to tailgate and leaving early. That’s on the fans.

So, according to what you are saying, they want to spend A LOT more money on basically facilities and coaches salaries. So my follow up question to that is where is this money going to come from? Are we not currently spending all of our athletic department income? If we are, and I’m sure we are, are the people who want a ton more spending willing to put some skin in the game so we have more money to spend?
-
I’m asking this of everyone who says this….what exactly do you want “the administration” to do? If it’s spend more money, how much money spent on what? If it’s more than just spending money, what specifically are you talking about?

As I tell my wife, I feel like I’ve watched the same movie 250 times, but still wonder if it will end any differently the next time. -
Indiana HS Football 2022

The problem with computer ratings and the Summit Athletic Conference is they don’t play nonconference games (until next season) so they’re not connected to the rest of the teams in the state. While Sagarin puts in an artificial factor based on past seasons, that factor seems to change from week to week for whatever reason. But it’s really just a pretty meaningless educated guess until the playoff start and they play some out of conference games. -
Mike Woodson and His Coaching Staff
IUHoosierJoe replied to Hoosierfan1901's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
While I supported Archie until midway through his final year, I never thought he was the best coach available when he was hired. Chris Beard and Brad Underwood in particular had better track records and probably would have taken the job back then. And I know people around here don't like Underwood, but I think he is going to have Illinois contending for a long time. Really glad we have Woodson, though. -
UCLA and USC Joining the Big Ten

I can assure you they are not making it up as they go along. A someone who used to be very active in the Alumni Association, we were told years before they joined that the Big 10 wanted Rutgers and Maryland. They have been chasing Notre Dame for decades, and wanted Texas for many, many years. Just because you aren't privy to something doesn't mean it hasn't been happening. Will they regret it later? Time will tell, but it's been in the works, and in fact actually been happening, for a long time, and nobody regrets it yet. -
Horizon League as a whole is not good, but Davis is legit.
