We showed fight but other than that it may be about as unimpressive as a win can be.  We beat a team with a defense worse than ours and still managed to look like crap for most of the game.

I don't know how credible it'd be after just one season, but I'd be on board with it.  I'd prefer Stevens though.

We have also shown over the last 7 years we can struggle against a team that plays slow.  We're bad in the halfcourt and do little to nothing to speed a team up.

A colonoscopy without anesthesia would be better than that.

Crean's tenure was really some pushback against the success Ryan had.  A 2 year run where we met expectations once, and Ryan eating Crean's lunch practically every matchup.

Highlights:  Bowl game, Troy had 19 rebounds against Eastern Western A&M Tech of the Blind and Deaf Lowlights:  Eastern Western A&M Tech of the Blind and Deaf is the only competition we haven't looked like fresh dog crap against

:scratchhead: Is this really a bad thing when the coach is Crean?  It's not exactly his strength.

Do the other two literally just stay on the offensive end of the court?

They weren't very good before but at least it looked like they were trying. Then once the competition increased the defensive effort decreased.

A lot of people were singing this team's praises. Then Maui started and this team stopped playing defense.

Full on desperation.

I know we could lose players, it also will not be the deciding factor for me.  We've gone down that road before with Mike Davis, and I'd rather not do that again.

I don't think he's being serious.  I have a very hard time thinking anyone in the fanbase is that much of a Crean homer at this point.

I'm to the point I'm completely apathetic about this scrub teams that we should dominate.  They're so bad we can't tell if the team has improved on anything or not, and beating teams like this isn't the issue.

I love some of the things that are traditional for us that you don't see much anymore; like our uniforms, basic with no names.  I loved how our court looked until that giant B1G logo got put right there at the foul line.   I mostly agree on the big heads, mostly I think they're stupid.  I don't mind if the big head has something to do with Indiana basketball, but Waldo or Dwight Schrute is stupid; and no, Dwight Schrute isn't related to Indiana basketball just because Crean looks like him.  I really hate the stupid gorilla costume too.

The coach saying that is a lot different than what we heard, "this team has no leaders".

Forget the deep ball, he's not much of a thrower period.

Some of them are former coaches and coaching is a fraternity, that could be part of it.

So Miley Cyrus went from being Hannah Montana to, whatever the hell Miley Cyrus is.

It's not often people are more excited for IUFB than IUBB.  Maybe that's why Crean was kept around, to turn a basketball blue blood into a football school.   Mission accomplished, now get lost.

Well, we sure had the wrong scouting report.

Well the effort was there on defense, which was good to see, although that was a bad offensive team so it's hard to draw more than that from it.

We could wear flip flops now and not be much worse on defense.  I'm not sure we'd be much worse if we were blindfolded.

I know I'm putting the cart way before the horse, but if we landed Stevens and a headline didn't read something like "the prodigal son returns" then someone failed.
