  1. This would be a good time for a pick.
  2. This is part of it.  Bigger and faster players naturally results in harder hits.
  3. It was.  Just a clean, hard hit.   I don't mind emphasizing player safety, but some of the rule changes have been ridiculous.
  4. That's clean.
  5. Well, they the defense is allowing drives but also creating some turnovers.
  6. And turn the speed up.  "Alright Cobbs, if you don't catch it the ball will have to be surgically removed from your chest".
  7. "3rd and manageable".  Uhhh, against our defense 3rd and 15 is 'manageable'.
  8. I know he's new to the receiver position, but man it's maddening.  He makes some great plays and shows potential, then stone hands on the easy catches.
  9. Another breakup by Fant.
  10. Yeesh, Redding.  That hurdle.
  11. Hmmm, not sure that should've been a flag.
  12. There's the defense we all know and loathe.
  13. First and goal and the defense recovers a fumbled snap.  It's kind of nice to see things like that NOT happen to Indiana for a change.
  14. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=boiler+up   Purdue fans have no idea how fitting "Boiler up" is for them.
  15. Another way someone can go with this is that if fans are booing at least they are still showing they care.  When the reactions stop, positive or negative, that is when everyone really needs to worry.  So dead silence may send a message as well.   The opposite of love isn't hate, it's apathy.
  16. Not all of them are off the team.
  17. Who's Brad Stephens and why should we want him coaching IU?
  18. You must have a higher pain tolerance than me.  There are Purdue co-eds less ugly than our Maui performance.
  19. Analysts would flip, Purdue would start wearing brown shorts.
  20. Yeah, I know a UK fan that used to say the same thing.  Maui was so bad it even made him change his tune.
  21. I've said before that Indiana offers everything a coach needs to succeed at a high level, absolutely everything, and Brad Stevens is the absolute perfect fit for Indiana basketball.  I've even heard rival fans admit that Indiana is a sleeping giant.  I completely believe Stevens would give that giant the kick it needs to wake up and reclaim it's spot among the royalty.   That kind of hire wouldn't just make waves, it'd send tidal waves across CBB.  It'd send a message to everyone that we're not messing around this time.
  22. My goodness that picture needs to be in a caption contest.
  23. For the love of all that is good, no more search committees.
  24. He's a senior but he's not really a leader, or at least he's not much of one.  As has already been said, he has to earn that respect and he hasn't been much of a leader to earn it.
