    We had 3 guys with 5+ assists. I could be wrong but can’t imagine that has happened very many times in recent past. the fact that one of our best scorers was one of those is a great sign!

    I'm a bit concerned with our ability to match up athletically against longer and quicker teams, but man is it nice to see an IU basketball team that can shoot the rock again! Wilkerson is awesome.

    Seeing how the staff has a plan for integrating young players - Becker, Landino, Hardy, Ndukwe, Bond, etc. - has been a masterclass in program development. I am sure Cig and Staff will hit the portal hard this offseason by necessity to fill the doughnut hole in Junior & Sophomore class depth, but I dont expect that to be the case moving forward.

    Portal additions assessment to date: Tucker - doesn’t count; the coach’s kid. Enright? 100% awesome get. Love this kid at IU. Lamar? OH YES!! Bailey - Not seeing it. Sloppy on offense. Alexis? OH YES for sure Conerway? Yes; more than some think Jasai? Until today looked like a no; but maaaybe. Harris - so far a big ol’ no, and that includes before the injury. Drake- who the hell knows OVERALL? Pretty damn good

    Wish Cignetti wasn't so soft on Bielema, who was Wisconsin's coach, then. Indiana could have hung 83 on Illinois with little problem. Purdue's coach was mouthy earlier....We may score 140 the next 2 weeks. And it's gonna' be 68* on Saturday

    Think it's past "possibility." The eyeball test, just like football, tells a very compelling story. Indiana's good. They need the weight room and more size, but movement and shooters win at every level of basketball.

    There were some signs from Jasai Miles today that intrigued me. He really moved his feet well on defense—seems like even though he came here as a scorer, he’s tentative on that end; looking to avoid mistakes. But he showed signs of athleticism and effort today and he could be reinvented as a multi-positional swing man. Until today the game has looked way too fast for him; today it appeared to slow down just a little.
