  1. Past hour
  2. Whoops idk why I typed that. I had just texted a friend about Omar and Ponds but must've started wondering about Sarratt.
  3. There was very little doubt of that from the get-go. He had no clue what he was in for with the college game and certainly with regard to recruiting. Thank the Almighty that NIL was a thing, otherwise, I wonder what kind of talent he could attract. But as DeVries told us, a team is much more than a collection of players. Fit is important, team chemistry is critical as well having a basic scheme of how he expects the team to play. Thankfully, that nightmare is over. We can hopefully forget what a disaster it was and focus on Coach DeVries and what appears to be a promising sophomore season.
  4. Michigan softball is basically IU soccer in the Mike Freitag era right now who gave the job from the retiring legend (Carol Hutchins) to her top assistant (Bonny Tholl) a few yrs ago and while it has not gone horribly, it has definitely led to a fairly noticeable drop off. Shonda Stanton basically gave Tholl a lesson in her system and culture she has built today. As soon as the Hoosiers hit or miss pitching gave up a 2-1 lead late to trail 4-2, IU didn't panic and instead poured it on with power ball in last two innings and pulled away to win 8-4 while being loud and joyful in dugout. That's the program Stanton has built in her time at IU and today was a microcosm of it and its why the team is cruising towards a fourth straight NCAA Tournament, while the Wolverines are likely to miss the postseason all together for the second time in Tholl's four year tenure. If Michigan is smart and wants to go back to being a top tier squad in college softball as they were for 30 years, they need to being in someone new who has head coaching experience and not keep the legend's top assistant as doing it this way almost always leads to slow decline.
  5. Well, we're losing 7-2 but Caleb Koskie sets a new hitting streak record.
  6. Sid the sloth goes to..Arizona in round 3? Cardinals draft is questionable at best Edit: I do think Bisontis will be good though
  7. Today
  8. Like Peaches and Herb.. (Google it you youngsters)
  9. @LIHoosier clearly is not following instructions.
  10. Sounds like a head case that probably wouldn't fit in the team environment but if Coach takes him I guess I would be OK with it.
  11. I think woody’s coaching was exposed long before this squad ever took the floor at IU
  12. Vegas play at the Jets
  13. Please tell me the Jets don’t play the raiders this year
  14. Not sure how I’m gonna thread the needle between simultaneously rooting for my all-time favorite IUFB player while wanting the Jets to flounder for the remainder of Woody Johnson’s days, but I’m gonna figure it out.
  15. Waffle House is still undrafted
  16. Waffle House and 5 deserve so much better. But hey, Hoo better to turn the Jets around than our guys?
  17. The 2nd greatest turnaround in football history has to start somewhere. If only there was a way for the Jets to get rid of their version of the Blind Aussie.
  18. Just brutal.
  19. Here come the New Jersey Hoosiers!
  20. Of ******* course two of my all time favorite IU players get drafted to a local franchise and it's not the one I root for. Lol
  21. PLEASE STOP DRAFTING IU PLAYERS
  22. If they drafted enough Hoosiers maybe they won’t suck
  23. Cooper's got a friend, Ponds to the Jets!
  24. Miika article worth reading. https://www.hoopshype.com/story/sports/ncaab/2026/04/20/the-ceiling-of-miikka-muurinen-is-undeniable-but-he-has-bigger-problems-first/89685478007/
  25. The less he played, the worse it got.
  26. Caleb Koskie back in the line up after missing Tuesday night. Batting third with a chance to set the all time Hoosier Baseball hitting streak at 22 games.
