  2. $59.99 for the season if you buy before Oct. 15th. $119.99 after that. Honestly not the worst deal, despite me having them in my TV package for as long as I can remember.
  3. He had success at Vandy when it was much more difficult to do that. VT made a significant investment to support Franklin. IMO he will absolutely raise their floor and make them relevant in the ACC at least.
  4. Isn’t this the kid who duck hooked the kick against IU? Yeah, I’m sure Day will keep a really close eye on this one.
  5. Today
  6. You might be right but I think it's a really good fit for him and he'll be able to elevate Va Tech where they'll compete for the conference championship fairly quickly. Recruiting/Transfer rankings indicate this. While they don't have PSU type resources they do indeed have a very solid backing with a rich history. Also, IUFB is competing against him for recruits in the DMV and we'll lose some to him. But I for sure understand why you think this and it's fair. He hasn't been able to get the big conference game wins.
  7. The connection to them beating Purdue is the only thing keeping this addition completely out of "SMDH" territory for me. Why haven't we seen a full schedule yet? Kind of dumb that we're learning about games from our opponents.
  8. Dude is way overpaid. His success is gonna scale down with resources.
  9. Seems they have season passes and monthly passes and it's not PPV like their boxing stuff.
  10. Wouldn't be surprised to see him try another year of college... didn't he have to sue to be able to play last seaon?
  11. So how does this work? Are the games individual pay per view? Do you not buy a pkg? If you have 22 free games how are you accessing the other 60?

  13. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/recent-legal-developments-could-open-the-door-for-diego-pavia-to-play-college-football-again Looks like Pavia has basically the CFL and UFL unless he sues the NCAA to play although he played 4 years with 2 years of JUCO before that. It's tough being smaller than than your ego.
  14. Sadly it was only $9M because of the offset from him taking the Va Tech job. PSU was lucky.
  15. Clip: Hoover > Becker TD! Clip 2: Hoover > PICK Ouch. At least in the pick clip our video staff clipped Hoover out instead of what we're seeing with some other programs around the country airing out their Qs mistakes. RB room has to be top 5 in the country. If Beebe is #3 we're cooking, he was the best in the room last year imo.
  16. I was thinking they need to pay off that buyout of Franklin.

  18. Probably true... but Cig relished the underdog role... and can just win 'em all and shut the critics up... just like last year... even made the mouth of the SEC apologize for dogging the Hoosiers all season last year.I
  19. Any idea when conference schedule will be finalized and released? Mid Sept again?
  20. Gotta capitalize on that new coach excitement
  21. Penn State is hitting their fans with ticket price increases of 250% to nearly 400% for next season. https://www.mcall.com/2026/08/19/penn-state-football-fans-shocked-by-price-increase-for-2027-season-tickets/ Pat Kraft is awful. Thank goodness he isn’t our AD.
  22. Friday night at 8:00, Hoosiers host Bellarmine. Televised on B1G+. Live Stats
  23. I think Whit will be a good coach at UM. Probably not for very long though. PSU is my sleeper pick for the CFP this year, mainly because of their schedule.
  24. Whittingham's Utes were excellent last year. Two years ago they were 5-7. He's also 66 years old - while guys like Cig and Pitino show that is a non-factor for some, it is also true that some coaches start to lose the energy to run a program as effectively at that age.
  25. Whittingham is a good coach. But there’s a reason why he was getting pushed out. Over his career he wins about 2/3s of his games. Over the last 10 years. About 2/3s of his games. Last 5 years about 2/3s of his games. Yeah he’s got more talent but so do the teams he will be facing. And even if he can up his game to about 75% of his games. I don’t think that keeps them happy in AA. What he’s not going to do is get arrested.
