  1. Past hour
  2. He’s with Bargen in the photo
  3. Yes, stopped by HSN and saw that a picture was posted from a distance away.
  4. A picture of Euro big Michael Ruzic. The kid who is at IU today: Ruzic has been reportedly down to BYU, LSU, and UK.
  5. Nah this guy look like he might be a euro
  6. I think there are a lot of people on the campus today. Hoping one of them is at least 81 inches tall and can throw spherical objects into metal rings. Could be Ladarius Givan. He had a visit with UCF that started last Tuesday and also was to take a visit to IU and then maybe Seton Hall.
  7. WR Jonathan Brady has signed with the Raiders after receiving a rookie mini camp invite last week, per his agency
  8. Yaak Yaak has left the building. Signed with Oklahoma.
  9. If he can at least make the trip and participate in practices would still be a real plus in familiarizing him with his new teammates and DDV's coaching philosphy.
  10. Juke Harris picks Tennessee over Michigan and UNC. Matt Norlander reports that Harris' asking price was $5 million.
  11. And frankly, it makes no difference to me one way or the other and I'd wager it doesn't matter to his new employer. He's an adult and free to make his own choices and my respect and admiration for what he accomplished won't change one iota.
  12. This statement at the end is the part the "coach" from the ACC couldn't measure. "It’s the heart that Mendoza showed throughout the season, including in the national title game against the Miami Hurricanes, that made him an attractive prospect for NFL teams."
  13. Today
  14. Good to hear. At least 2 more are getting drafted this year. So plenty of room for him
  15. From an insider. A few others are confirming it. He loves the staff a lot. He also loved seeing 2 receivers get drafted.
  16. SIAP. Haters be hatin' https://www.foxnews.com/sports/raiders-fernando-mendoza-faces-criticism-college-football-coach-nfl-readiness
  17. Where did you hear that?
  18. If Bama (his childhood team) is out of the picture… that’s good news.
  19. Looks like someone is on campus today ~ via hsn
  20. ....not 100%, but ol' A. I. says this..... Based on reports regarding the Indiana University (IU) basketball team representing the USA at the FISU America Games, a player born in Turkey can travel and practice with the team, but generally cannot play in the games. Only American citizens are eligible to participate in the competitive, Team USA-branded games, as the competition follows strict eligibility rules. [1, 2] Key Details regarding this scenario: Eligibility Restrictions: Because Indiana University is representing the United States, foreign-born players (such as Turkish international players) are likely restricted from participating in official, counted FISU competition games. Participation Limitations: International players on the roster can still attend the events, practice, and travel with the team as part of the team's international experience. FIBA Rules: FISU competitions are affiliated with FIBA (International Basketball Federation), which often applies strict eligibility rules, restricting players who have not represented the USA. Player Example: Specifically regarding IU's participation, Turkish international Samet Yigitoglu is mentioned as being restricted from playing in the games but able to travel and train. [1, 2] In summary, a Turkish-born player would not be able to play in the exhibition games, although they might be able to take part in other aspects of the team trip.
  21. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/fernando-mendoza-doesnt-plan-to-visit-the-white-house-with-indiana Mendoza says he might not go because of OTAs. I saw one video saying he is at the bottom of the totem pole and needs to work. Some sites are saying the visit is a week before his OTAs, so who knows.
  22. Supposedly down to Texas and IU. IU is in full court press on him. Just might close the deal.
  23. And because it's an Amreicas competition, Yigi will not be there as part of the Turkish team. Hoping to see the legendary Ahkeel and Ahseem Boyd suit up for Tobago!
  24. Because the Hoosiers will represent the USA, only American citizens on the IU roster will be able to participate. Again from ITH article.
  25. Are We sure about Samet not being eligible?
