Pleasantly surprised by the Colts so far this year

Pretty solid season, despite being Jacksonville’s only W.

Next week will be a L.

And man, I really like Jonathon Taylor but Derrick Henry is the most physically dominant back I’ve seen in a long time. His stiff arm today wasn’t fair.

I’m not sure next week is a loss. Definitely could be but the Steelers seem to be completely imploding.

Yah. They were probably the fakest 11-0 team ever. Even before this losing streak their fans were saying they weren’t that good 

 

buts to think we could realistically be 12-4 this year

So lets say you're the Colts and you have these 4 QBs available, who do you choose? Darnold, Wentz, Stafford,, and Rive. Mine order would be 

 

1. Darnold

2. Stafford

3.Wentz

4. Rivers

Wentz or Darnold first. Darnold hasn’t had crap around and still has shown signs of his talent. Wentz needs a change of scenery and reuniting with Reich could be the ticket. Got to make sure the financials work in our favor tho, that contract is gonna be a big problem for the Eagles.

Rivers over Stafford. Stafford still has the arm but at some point you are what you are, and he’s never shown he can be a consistent winner. Granted , the lions have been a mess forever but that’s why he got the big bucks.
Rivers can still make the big throw on occasion but his arm has seen better days. He’s the ultimate team guy and a warrior tho. If Eason has shown any promise for the future, I’d be fine rolling with Phil for one more year.

Man Wentz is so bad.  I don't want any part of him or that contract.

What's up with Eason?  Why has he been inactive all year?

I've got a lot of faith still in Darnold. The playmaking,   the arm talent, they're still there. He has developed some issues kind of that probably need to be broken. But like you said he has never been given anything to work with. Here everything is in place. I think we'd have our franchise QB.

 

Wentz still scares me. He has talent but a lot of his issues are him and what he does, or doesn't do. I guess Frank could fix him. But I'd rather bank on Darnold if we go the youth route.

I think Reich came out and said he doesn't want to go into games with more than 2 QBs. Would rather use the active sot elsewhere.

Our qb room is so strange.  $45 million on two guys, one of whom sees 2 snaps per game, and a 4th round pick that hasn't even been activated yet.  I hope Eason is our future and we don't have to worry about anybody else.  And I'm not sure Darnold is going to be available now since the Jets messed up their chance to get Trevor Lawrence.  Maybe now Gardner Minster is the expendable one?

Truly unbelievable choke by the Raiders. Colts really need to win tomorrow. Can’t count on Miami losing to Buffalo.

Agreed. But Buffalo will need that game for the very valuable 2 seed (even without a bye it guarantees two home games in playoffs instead of 1 which is huge) unless Colts win in Pitt and then that Buffalo Miami game becomes irrelevant from Colts perspective.

I would rather it not come down to Buffalo-Miami for Colts to get into playoffs, but Buffalo will need to go all out and will not be able to rest starters as many have suggested.

Colts are getting absolutely ****ed by the refs today. Compounded by the fact the colts offense disappeared. What a joke

Defense getting chewed up in the second half of games has become a rather disturbing trend.

You need 70 yards in 2 minutes to win the game and you have no timeouts...screen passes sound like a great idea.

Big game today.  The Colts must win if they want to make the playoffs, then hope the Titans, Browns, Ravens, or Dolphins lose.
