What Dalton said. I'd want to give Sammie Watkins or Allen Robinson a show me contract. Maybe Zach Fulton

I would be shocked if the Bears don’t go hard after a couple receivers and give one (preferably Robinson) a pretty good sized deal. We basically played all of last year without any serviceable wideouts with a rookie QB. Watkins could be really good in the right situation. Maybe that situation is Indy? FA always scare me. Paying for past performance and it usually doesn’t end well.

I'm not expecting much from the Colts during free agency. Ballard is a build through the draft kind of guy which I like but hopefully we can get at least one of Robinson, Norwell, or Hitchens.

They are just rumors, but I think it is just discouraging that the Colts aren't mentioned in any of the rumors on lineman right now...... Wonder if Nelson is their guy in the draft

Its looking like Barkley and Chubb may go 1 & 2 so I wouldn't be shocked if they go Nelson at 3.

Haven’t seen Chubb too much at the 2. Barkley has started to pop up at the 1. If the Giants don’t go QB (I think they do) they have to trade back. Too many teams need a QB.If Nelson were to go that high is that the highest a Guard has ever went? IMO he has the traits of a future HOF. The Bills are loading up to trade for a top pick. If I were the Colts I would beg for Chubb and Barkley at 1 & 2. Get the 12 & 22 and their 1st rd pick next year.

So the Bills just traded with the Bengals........ just saying

 

Trading the #3 for 12, 22, and next year's first would be awfully enticing. Bills are gonna be awful next year, and early looks at next year's pass rush class is scary good

No it wasn't. Ballard has said since he was hired that he plans to build through the draft, not free agency.

I'm perfectly fine with not getting Sammy Watkins. It was reported that the Colts were one of his finalist but for 16 million a year? PASS!

Nope. Norwell is being made one of the highest paid OL in the game, highest guard I think. Ballard has said time and time again he isn't going to overspend in free agency on one guy. Some of you guys just want him to throw money at players, you guys must miss Grigson a ton

Outsider looking in I truly think you could get next years 1 from them too atleast. Remember when the Redskins moved up from 5 to 2 to get RG3? They got multiple 1st rounders and 2nd rounders. 12 to 3 even with another 1st rounder in the same year I think you could get next years picks too. You guys are in a great spot. NYG being in the best obviously.
