His second and third years were actually pretty fantastic for a second or third year QB.  I know that doesn't fit your agenda but 40 TDs and only 16 INTs is a pretty good ratio for a 3rd year player.  And his team was pretty garbage that year also, it just wasn't a historically garbage one.  Yeah he had alot of fumbles thats what happens when you don't have a line and have to keep drives going with your legs.

Whoo hoo...his 3rd year was great!

That's the thing Josh no one is disagreeing with you that we are bad. The difference is you blame Luck no matter what happens while everyone else sees what's going on for what it really is.

You said your earlier comment was hyperbole but it's honestly hard to tell at times when it comes to you and Luck.

Entering this week Luck is 3rd in passing yards, 5th in passing TD's, 10th in QBR(ahead of guys like Rodgers, Wilson, Newton, and Manning), he's thrown the same amount of INTs as guys like Rodgers, Ryan, and Stafford. If you factor in fumbles Rodgers has more total turnovers than Luck.

Here is the difference he is doing that while being the most sacked QB in the league and getting minimal help from the run game.

Has he played perfect? No, but your over the top hate for Luck just doesn't make any sense to me.

And I see the opposite.  Luck has way too many mistakes that costs us games and I see people giving him no blame at all.  So maybe I go overboard to show how insane that is.

He has cost us games and he's the highest paid player in the league.  Coaches get held accountable.   GM's are held accountable.  Luck should be too.

I think a lot of people see the mistakes all around him that lead to the issues you guys have. When given time and some ability to run the ball they see the talent he has. I mean you guys hadn't had a 100 yd rusher in almost 4 years. When a defense can rush 4 consistently and get stops it makes a QBs job impossible. The biggest problem I see the Colts has is they haven't built a roster over the last few years since he was drafted. Bad signings. Bad drafts. Bad coaching. Doesn't matter how good Luck is.

According to a report he was wanting Von Miller type money.  No chance of that happening.

Yeah no other defender is getting Von Miller money aside from Mack or JJ. They likely could've gotten a better deal for him though.

I also thought they could've gotten better, but also was confused on why? I know he would've been gone next year, but the patriots are obviously looking likely to win why trade away a big piece of your defense, I say you go all in this year but what do I know.

I'd figure they could've as well.  Even if he walked in FA they may have gotten a compensatory third.

Some sort of behind the scenes issue perhaps?  I think a former front office person from Browns and Patriots tweeted Collins has a tendency to do his own thing on the field, but not sure.

I saw that as well but I dont remember who said it. I wouldve loved to have him in Indy, but then again he wouldn't have been used right.

Mike Lombardi, former Browns GM.  Name escaped me at first.

Still seems like they could've gotten more for a pro bowl(?) LB that's as athletic as he is.  The timing doesn't make much sense since the compensatory pick they would've gotten at the end of the year would've probably been similar in value.

EDIT:  I doubt if the Browns use him right either, they're closer to the toilet bowl than the Super Bowl for a reason.

Posting drunk after a loss when I promised not to...sorry.

I do stand by my thought of Luck being equally to blame for the bad record, but it's a lot easier to make a point while sober.

I won't quit drinking, so...I guess I need to resist posting on Sunday afternoons at the rate our team is going. Is there a scheduled ban I can get put on my account from 1:00 until midnight on Sundays?

I know my "no turnovers = win" makes some of you angry, but I believe strongly in it. Today we'll need more than that. Add a "no dumb penalties" to it, and we'll win. Just those two things today and the Colts can beat the Packers.

Go Colts

I don't think it makes anyone angry. It is just such a dumbed down way to look at any football team. If you don't turn the ball over you will win. That is the same for any team. I don't think that makes anyone mad. That is just common sense.

Yes, it's very simple. No turnovers = win. Almost every time. The message is simple and clear. Protect the ball.

The people who get upset are the ones who see Luck turn the ball over multiple times and yet refuse to give him any blame for the losses.

Today's game is a little different, we need more. I want to win bad.
