As of now, there hasn't been any team we jump in front of.  Clemson was behind us.

It's just that the team ranked closest to IU lost, which is good.  Ole Miss didn't look good, so they aren't jumping us from 14.  South Carolina IMO didn't play well enough to warrant jumping from 15 to 10 and ahead of IU.

Take care of business with Purdue, just keep it out of being a close game plus have Texas beat A&M (or Georgia should A&M beat Texas) and IU is in.

I don't think we have to do anything more than beat Purdue by 10+ and we are safely in!

Something to do with Opponent percentage

Yep.  First tiebreaker is head to head.  Second is record against common conference opponents.  Since we lost to the same team, it goes to opponent winning percentage in conference.

Even if PSU loses today (looking doubtful) and IU wins (quite likely), the B1G would probably try to find a way to screw IU out of playing in the B1G Championship. Again.

I also wouldn't mind the committee looking and seeing IU's last game being a blow out win instead of the likely loss to Oregon. And having only 1 loss.

Getting to the Championship game would be great and all, but at this time it's more about the CFP than that to me.

There's no way they could. We'd have one league loss while O$U and PSU would have two apiece.
