Disagree modern college athletics allow you to win year 1 and he got paid win now money. And he isn’t winning now.

Tough crowd.  He doesn't even have a losing record right now.  And he ain't coaching a prominent blue blood ta boot.

They are giving him blue blood money.  He’s making 4 million more than Michigans Coach.

And he doesn’t have a losing record yet but let’s be real his wins aren’t at all impressive.

A lot of schools are getting "blue blood" now!  Again, he doesn't have a losing record right now. That's the reality.

Media, especially those who follow NFL over college (Bill Simmons, ESPN talking heads) built up the idea he’d be able to waltz into college and immediately have success.

UNC is paying BB 10 million a year. Also a top-level salary to his unqualified GM Michael Lombardi + Lombardi’s even more unqualified son, the QB coach.

Hulu is set to debut a show following UNC in season.

They’ve gotten demolished in their only two P4 games thus far.
I’m pretty certain his tenure is going to be a massive train-wreck and I’m happy to see it’s already trending that way.

“Belichick's demands were unprecedented for a place like UNC. Brown made $5 million per year. Belichick wanted more than double that figure. He also insisted on autonomy over the program and a sizable increase in the salary pool for assistants, and he wanted a minimum commitment from the school for player acquisition that would've exceeded UNC's planned revenue-sharing distribution. According to reports, he also asked to have his son Steve tabbed as a "head coach in waiting."

It feels so dirty to cheer for Illannoy at anything but I hope they win convincingly today.  And really the rest of the way.  Ewww that is gross to type

All 4 of the Fox guys picking USC comfortably. Think that would have been their call this time last Saturday?

I find that I am predisposed to cheering for my childhood big ten teams.  When playing the new entrants. Nebraska and onwards

If Illinois wins convincingly their take away will be, "it's a shame Illinois played so poorly against IU or they would be undefeated right now!"

Yeah, I've said what I said. This type of scrutiny is way way way too early. But that's just me. Y'all be you.

Why don't you just stroll over to a North Carolina board and tell them what your opinions are on the article and it's author.

Watching USC vs Illinois.

USC has already made more discipline mistakes than we did in all four quarters last week.

Coaching matters.

Seems to be the difference so far. Both teams look relatively equal.
