Per 247, Duke will land Bamba but they also have an offer out to Gak.  Nick Richards the #2 ranked center appears headed to pUKe.  I didn't see anything regarding Kansas.

Kansas has been getting the cb love recently. They scare me more if they get into desperation mode. We need a serviceable big to play next to or back up DD at the 5.

I know the track regard with Grad transfer bigs but if we can't get Gak I still think that's the best option.

The thing about a grad transfer is we do not know who is there. And by the time we do know, this recruiting class will be signed. If we can get a serviceable big now, I would take him. If a good transfer becomes available then you look at the options available.

Agree.  Maybe there's a quality grad transfer available next year; maybe there isn't.  We lucked out getting Max but I prefer not to be forced into that position because we couldn't get a '17 commitment.  We've seen what we get when we have to go scavengering at the last minute.

From Zagoria:  Deng Gak, the 6-11 center from Blair (N.J.) Academy, takes an official to Florida after previously visiting Miami. He is also set to hit Indiana (Oct. 14) and Kansas (Oct. 21).
