Bryant comes up big to lead IU over Kentucky

Recommended Posts

Bryant was asked what he said and he replied, “I told them ‘That’s why I’m here.’’

That's why I love this kid. He plays with a passion that is almost unmatched. I think we'll look back at this kid in 10 years and he'll still be a fan favorite.

Bryant is STONE COLD! Ice flows through that kid's veins as a competitor. How many other true centers are demanding the ball with less than a minute so he can shoot free throws? How many other freshmen, much less?

Bryant has a very smooth stroke. Another offseason working on quickening his release and he will be unstoppable hitting shots from all over the court. I hope we can get one more year with him, but he certainly helped his draft stock last night.

Plenty to work on. He still looks awkward in some of his moves. Hope he comes back for 1 more season.

Absolutely.  His biggest heel is his athleticism, he isn't very bouncy and can't jump very high.  However, he is extremely crafty with good moves.  I can't wait to see him next season (yes, I am predicting he comes back and leads us to a deep tourney run next year).
