I still don't think Maryland is a great team but they find a way to squeak it out against bad to decent teams.  Michigan has been playing good ball and that road win at Nebraska was big for them.

I'll say right now

IU
Iowa
Michigan
PU

End of year

IU
Iowa
Purdue
Michigan

I'm not a believer in MD

They play at MSU, Iowa, at OSU, Nebraska, then PU. Tough stretch.

Then last 3/4 Mich, at PU, and at IU

8 tough ones for Maryland all in a stretch.

I know we have a tough schedule but my gosh they can lose one and snowball to 4-5 losses.

IU has tough stretch of Iowa, at MSU, Nebraska, PU. But 3 of those being at home. Also play Maryland at home. I can see us dropping at MSU, but when we play at Iowa I think we steal it.

Purdue has Nebraska, @ MD, @Mich St, @ Mich. Northwestern, @ IU, MD, @Nebraska. That's tough!!

Iowa has it the easiest. Purdue, MD.
Indiana only real tough one in mid Feb.
Finish @ OSU, IU, @Mich.

Maryland's big ten wins are as follows northwestern twice, Ohio state, Rutgers, penn state, and their best win at wisky but yet no one says antything about their soft big 10 schedule to start

Yeah, because this is an IU board. Nobody here is gushing about Maryland beating some really bad teams, like they are with IU.

Fair enough.

And probs because they got so much love early, whereas most national talking heads still had questions about us.

NW at home took OT to get the win.  I believe PSU took them down to the last minute.  It took Melo a long 3 to win against Wiscy.  I would take that win at Wiscy any day of the week though.  I think they blew out O$U and Rutgers though.

1. Iowa - Best wins so far, although I don't think its a clear cut lead2

2. Indiana - Dominant play not against strongest competition but they have blown out the opponents at home and won close games on the road.  What more can you ask

3. Maryland - Weak schedule like IU, but they have won games.  Still not sold on them.

4. Michigan - Had some struggles but they have won games when they needed too.

End of season:
Mich St. (No, I don't think they'll win the conference, too big a hole, but I think they'll be the best team if healthy)
