Say what u want about Crean, but he does a better job of player development than most coaches. It makes me laugh to see UNLV suck because they beat us out for some of our targets. Okonoboh could have been a solid player.

Watched some of the Butler game yesterday, and I saw Austin play.  He looks exactly the same as I remember him.  I don't even know if Crean would play him this year if he remained on the team.  I can't think of anyone that I'd want Austin playing over.  I'm glad he's dominating over at Butler though, you know the Butler way.   :D

A once recruit, Jamari Traylor from KU arrested last night.

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — Kansas basketball player Jamari Traylor and football player Rodriguez Coleman were arrested about an hour apart early Sunday near campus.

Traylor, a junior forward and part-time starter, was arrested shortly after 2 a.m. for interfering with a police officer, according to the Douglas County Sherriff's Office. He posted $100 bond and was released.

Kansas coach Bill Self said he was aware of the arrest and gathering information, and that "this will certainly be addressed." Self did not say whether Traylor would travel for the No. 11 Jayhawks' game Wednesday night at Georgetown.

Coleman, a wide receiver who just finished his senior season, was arrested shortly before 2 a.m. on suspicion of battery. He posted $100 bond and also was released.

FWIW Eric Bossi compared Juwan Morgan's game to Jamari Traylor.  I like that comparison, I'd take a junkyard dog like Traylor on our team any day.  I hope they couldn't be more unlike each other off the court though, given the above news.

Every time I see Lee have another 11 minute night it kills me a little that he didn't even make it to his visit to IU.

 

Agree----I will never understand what some recruits or their parents are thinking----wonder what Lee is thinking now?

 

Can you imagine how he will feel if he has to sit on the bench and watch OSU lose to IU this year knowing he could have been playing regularly on the winning team?

Almost every school has off court issues, but It's how those issues are dealt with that matters.

I realize that. That's was also my way of saying ours were not dealt with properly. That's just my opinion.

They were all dealt with. All players had a run in with the law did their community service, etc. In the eyes of the justice system, they served their time and did everything to  correct their mistake. Just because people don't agree with how suspensions were handed out doesn't mean things were dealt with "properly".

Having no Seniors on this team, makes me even more excited for next years team.  On Paper we are loaded at a lot of spots, and we will finally have size.  Next year could be Crean's best defensive team he's had while at Bloomington.

I know a lot can still play out.  I like the idea of having a lot of core players back next year to go along with some potential Senior Leadership.  We have a lot of depth, particularly 3's and 4's that could cause a lot of matchup issues for teams.
