We've got some pretty good visitors coming up this weekend.

Intrigued by Dee Walker and Quayshaun Alexander, who is committed to Nebraska now. Walker has a visit here and Florida scheduled, but Florida hasn't offered. He'd be a good pickup. Alexander would be a good Bandit candidate with his size.

Having Peyton Ramsey on the visit should help. He's been one of IU's biggest recruiters since his commitment back in April. Getting him in the ear of Walker, Alexander, Amir Watts and the rest of the guys can only help.

Very interesting info on Ramsey. That's awesome to hear. Is Ramsey an early enrollee? I love Ramsey as a fit for CKW's offense. He has great production against top competition.

No, he's coming for a official this week.

The only early enrollees were Richard Lagow and Jayme Thompson.

List of visitors this weekend (According to 247):
3-star DT Amir Watts
3-star WDE Quayshon Alexander (Nebraska commit)
3-star OLB Dee Walker
3-star TE Dennis Wonnum
3-star QB Peyton Ramsey (IU commit)
3-star TE Albert Okwuegbunam (Missouri commit)

Hopefully we hear a 'BOOM' from coach Wilson this weekend!

Solid group. Those all fit the "big bodies" that Wilson talked about this week.

Hope we can flip Okwuegbunam just so Fischer has to deal with pronouncing his name every Saturday.

Well that's unfortunate. Our safeties actually look quite promising next season though.

Would have been a great get but like you said. Promising and young. I won't lose sleep

People seem to be penciling in Thompson and Crawford as the starters, but I remember Chase Dutra being a very solid player, and (correct me if I'm wrong) I believe he missed this season with some type of injury.

Where am I penciling in anyone..... Did I miss that.... I was agreeing that we have young talent in the secondary. I love dutra and his versatility. Correct he was hurt. I played with the kid in hs and he has great drive he will be back on the field next year. My comment was towards the young recruits who show promise just need some tuning that is all. Which is why I won't lose sleep over not getting Craig watts (a safety)

Not you, but I've seen a few articles that had early depth charts for next season and have him as a bench player.

And if I'd speculate it is because of his injuries. If I recall one was a knee or pretty bad ankle injury. That's the only reason I can think of him behind on depth chart
