For those of us living outside Indiana the Big Ten Network is awesome. I'd gladly pay $9.95 to watch IU. Sorry, I won't be participating in any boycott.

I already pay DTV for BTN.  Why pay the add'l $10 for something I'm already paying for?  A little more to it.

It sucks, but given the choice of $9.95 for IU basketball or not....I'll always pay it

Understood. For me it's a combination of things. Mainly the principal of the matter. Couple that with the opponent and knowing I can listen to it with Fisch, I'm ok saving the Hamilton.

I agree the 10 spot for BTN is worth it for us out of towners, but I will not pay extra for BTN plus, to me thaqt (plus) is nothing more than a money grab

I also want to make myself abundantly clear.  I have BTN and will pay for it (though most of the announcers are idiots...but that seems to be the norm anywhere these days)  through my TV provider (DirecTV).  The access to nearly every game is awesome.  I haven't missed a football game in years (BTN coupled w/ESPN3 or ESPNU or whatever their internet broadcast is these days.  

 

I will NOT however pay for the BTN+ crap.  Again, the principal.

Ah well eff word. That would be awesome. IUHoosiers.com is showing BTN plus. I never looked in my DTV guide. Presumed the schools athletic site would be accurate.

I go the opposite route. You can have my $20 to watch 2 exhibitions and 2 games, but in return I won't pay for BTN through my cable provider.

 

It's the principle. Or something. It's mostly because I don't even know how to work my regular TV channels.
