I don't think it is a "dumb rule."  These types of plays are literally killing guys.  Easy to go in without leading with your head to his head.

Anyway, nice to see the Board back up.  I love me some Josh Howard.

I don't think it was easy there. If a guy is ducking or falling, what starts out as a clean play ends up as head to head, and it looked a lot like it to me on that one.

Marty...you must really be despising these Iowa Steelers helmets.  They look more sticker-like than the IU ones.  lol

You know what's crazy? They aren't even stickers.

I'm trying to remember where I saw the closeup of them, but they have clear coat on them.

I don't know guys. I think the ball was certainly out before he crossed. I think once it was called as a TD, the burden is too high to have overturned it.

Also, bull-crap. Oakes could make it and the Gamblin' Kevin I used to know would have taken it.

What a great game to watch, if I didn't live and die by IU!  Guess I can start drinking heavily- was headed to IU hockey game and kid #2 gets sick.  Sorry HockeyHoosier, but best of luck to you guys!  While I have a lot of great posters reading this, be sure to check out all of the other awesome IU sports!!
