jmsgws Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Well Wake Forest cured a lot of defensive statistics. Miller'sTheMan Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 We were dominant defensively in that game outside of the last few minutes. I thought Andre Brown played a really good game from his corner spot as I rarely heard his name called which is good. Tegray Scales was also a beast with 2 sacks and Mangieri and Latham each had very good games as well. We'll need Rayner and Green to step up to replace what Latham gave us until he gets back. Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Don't think we'll take another jump upward this weekend. I just don't think we've got the horses to stop the likes of O$U, but I would like nothing better than to eat these words Saturday evening. Napleshoosier, jmsgws and ALASKA HOOSIER 3 Quote

I am not trying to say that our defense hasn't been awful. :) I am just hoping that maybe the Wake Forest game was a wake up, and we improve to bad from awful. I certainly hope so. Man, I wish we were better historically. Ohio State (and Oregon) has so many great in-depth podcasts that really tear apart advanced stats to the same degree that I get with pro-teams I follow. We don't even have as deep of analysis for our basketball team. I would love to have people who have the time to rewatch games and break them down for me so I can know how much to worry.
