Parakeet Jones Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Glad we can't play any more FCS teams after today. At least when we lose in the future it won't be as humiliating. MartintheMopMan 1 Quote
HoosierReb01 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 If you slow the offense down they the defense will be off the field more. The defense is getting themselves off the field pretty quick without any help. Quote
lucel15 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 I take back my prediction. They can't score or do anything in the second half of we want a chance Quote
benfaunce Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Well, I'm not seeing anything in this defense where the uptempo offense makes any difference. Its just sucky defense. The defense is never gets a breather because of the up tempo offense. They are constantly huffing and puffing Dalton26 and IU Hoosier41 2 Quote
JaybobHoosier Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 ....... WOW!! Very very disappointing! jmsgws 1 Quote
Double Down Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Defense has been a sieve all game. Nothing to do with the offense. I know we're missing a bunch of knuckleheads who would be starting today, but this is still unacceptable. Napleshoosier 1 Quote
Gahoosierfan Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 I guess when you hire your DC from Wake Forest this is what you get. Quote
Naturalhoosier Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Beyond disappointed at this point. hopefully the offense (passing specifically) can find some rhythm (soon...very soon). JaybobHoosier and mamasa 2 Quote
HoosierReb01 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 The defense is never gets a breather because of the up tempo offense. They are constantly huffing and puffing I would presume at the moment that the suspensions and Dutra's injury are probably contributing to that. Quote
JaybobHoosier Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 My extremely high enthusiasm has quickly dwindled lol. Dalton26, mamasa, jmsgws and 1 other 4 Quote
MartintheMopMan Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 The announcer has said "It doesn't get much easier than that" three times in reference to beating IU's defense. And "Your eyes do not deceive you" in reference to the score. Maybe we're just waiting to bring it in the second half. I doubt anyone will still be in the stands though. Quote
mhoban Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Where is Booth in the mix? Is he starting tonight? Quote
IU Hoosier41 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 My extremely high enthusiasm has quickly dwindled lol. My afternoon might be freeing up.... Normally the first 4 weeks I block out 4 hours for the game. Weeks 5-7 I block out 2 hours. Weeks 8-12 I block out 1 hour. I might have to adjust my schedule a little earlier this year Class of '66 Old Fart, jmsgws and JaybobHoosier 3 Quote
benfaunce Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 It drives me crazy that Wilson never changes up the offensive package. Every play is 3 WRs, 1 RB, 1 TE JaybobHoosier and IU Hoosier41 2 Quote
lucel15 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 I mean I can't complain.... Our o-line hasn't done an awful job. It's the defense and the offense is not consistent Quote
Naturalhoosier Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Nice spin Jordy! Love how he spun into the field and not out of bounds! Quote
benfaunce Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 It drives me crazy that Wilson never changes up the offensive package. Every play is 3 WRs, 1 RB, 1 TE Of course right as I say that, the next play is a two TE set. Still, a rare site. Naturalhoosier and JaybobHoosier 2 Quote
