Will be interested to hear what Hammond and the Magic brass say about this pick. If they were hellbent on coming out of this with a floor spacer, fine, bit I really don’t see the case that Howard is better than Gradey Dick. He’ll probably be a better defender eventually, but he’s not a better shooter and he ‘s not a playmaker.

I can see how a front office would value a future 1st and a player they like over a 1st tonight + a player, depending on their roster situation.

Yeah, I didn’t really think Gradey and Jett were in the same stratosphere seeing them both play IU this year. GD is a guy.

Still not happy with the trades that occurred prior to it, though -- end up getting a late 20s pick in 2024, the 47th pick this year and some cash for the 29th and 32nd pick this season.  Doesn't seem equal at all.

Like I said earlier it won't be late 20's because it is not Denver's actual pick. More than likely it will be early 20's
