y'all do realize that Wisconsin only had 2 fouls in the first half? right? 2

 

if IU is ever playing in as important a game as this and opposition only has 2 fouls at the half...

well...

I can only hope that I can petition the mods and ownership for a 2nd chance at posting on here, because I'm losing it when that happens...

Wisconsin gave Duke easy layups all half; I'd argue they should have played stronger defense, but they legitimately did not foul. Hence, why Duke had about ten first half layups. In the second half, more of the same...only difference?  Referees could now hear Coach K yelling at them every single trip down.  At least five foul calls were complete bull.  Duke would just run into Wisconsin players and get every single call.  And then of course...apparently Duke can step on the out of bounds line and touch the ball last, and still get the ball.  Ugh, so frustrated.  If Indiana had been in Wisconsin's place I would seriously be looking to write the NCAA about the officiating in the game.  I LOVE that Bo called out the officiating in the post game. 

 

This game epitomizes why I hate Duke.  They did not deserve this game and they were not the better team.

Sadly, no.   Tom out-thinking the world was not "one shining moment."   I bet "inside he knew," but personally, I'd rather be good at one thing and adjust once in a while than try to fool anybody.

 

Wisconsin got jobbed a little late, but they had chances to put it away and didn't.   I thought they slowed down too much at times and let a really good defensive team get set up.  I thought they passed up some secondary break chances when they had a lead, which may be viewed as "played not to lose," and I thought they dribbled too much.  (I complain a lot that IU does that also)     Freshmen played bigger than juniors and seniors tonight.  Kudos to Duke...Wisconsin will be and should be very disappointed, and the next few days will be filled with "what if's."    They got away from themselves a little, and it cost them.  That wasn't the same team we saw Saturday.  Sorry for Coach Ryan.  I like that guy.  Knows how to build and recruit to a program, and all he does is win.
