IU vs. Suckeyes pre-game thread

Recommended Posts

For Ohio State----Russell will be better this game but Yogi needs to continue to wear him like a tight-fitting sweater!

Russell will get his points but hopefully it will take a lot of shots and a poor percentage.

Otherwise---we do what we do-----spread the floor----play fast---drive the gaps----kick to 3 point shooters!

This is going to be another great game to watch.

Continued intensity and hustle on the road are going to be key----calling Collin Hartman!

I don't know how long the team is going to keep this poised and inspired play up but winning tomorrow would definitely have a large target on our backs. That would probably result in a solid new ranking and the press would be all over it.

Then again, nothing rattles Blackmon

With the way Yogi has been locking down the oppositions top (scoring) guard, I'm feeling confident. This OSU team is mediocre beyond Russell. Unless they can find another source of (consistent) scoring, they'll be in real trouble.

Call it a close one, but I've got IU's spread offense being too much for OSU. 72-66.

IU needs a friggin' big ol' game against the Suckeyes. Wisconsin is in OT with Michigan right now. that would really separate us

I hate cheering for Michigan but I was. It didn't help though. I was thinking to myself who would of thought it if IU was sole possession of first place. Well we just have to keep on winning. Go Hoosiers!

Matta says that a "smaller line up vs Indiana might work"

Bring 'em on!  That pesky Aaron Craft is gone so it should be opened up somewhat compared to last year.

I don't know if we can expect the same poor shooting and play from the Bucks at home though...17-27 free throws. 34% from the field and were out rebounded by the Hoosiers.

I'd say we'll have to win 2 of those categories to win.  Certainly I think now we can expect to shoot much better than the 4-18 from behind the arc also!
