Yep. We need to come out with better intensity in the 2nd than what we started with. If we do that and keep protecting the ball we are in good shape.

Why no timeout to draw up a play to take advantage of the :02 on the clock?

 

Teams do that all the time!

 

Why do we never do that?

Actually we usually do. Lately, Tom's had to use a timeout in the 1st half to rally the troops so the timeout to use or lose hasn't been available.

Overall actually really good first half- playing more physical, rebounding well, and getting great looks. We need to guard the three and play any semblance of transition defense. We should be up more...

Tommy using this Zone is going to make me switch sides on the fire CTC train. I have defended him in past, but I think he is the only coach in D1 that totally confused (offensively and defensively) by the concept of a 2-3 zone. It is depressing.
