Feaskb01 Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Yeah he is most likely a lock to USC. He is teammates with a ND commit (Fertitta) and he tried his hardest to get him to ND. There is no way he leaves the left coast. I like the enthusiasm tho!! CR3AMnCR1MS0N and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote

Feaskb01 Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Fertittas dad also owns the UFC. That team has some high profile dads lol. Yeah that school is amazing. If you want to see something amazing, just Google Bishop Gorman facilities. It is unbelievable what they have going on there. They have top notch recruits in every single class there. Current ND LT and possible 1st round pick next year went there. There is a 4* TE who is committed to UCLA. I believe there QB is a soph or jr and he is being highly recruited. Also, there head football coach, Tony Sanchez, also just made the jump from High School to Div 1 at UNLV. Last coach to do that was Chip Kelly. Dalton26 and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote
Feaskb01 Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Side note on Broadus. I guess USC and UCLA have both stopped recruiting him and will not accept a commitment from him. I guess they were advised to run far far away from this kid because he is nothing but trouble. If I had to guess, ASU will be his landing spot. They will take anyone. Dalton26 Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Owns as in Dana White? Dana White doesn't own the UFC. He's the president and the Fertittas own Zuffa which is the parent company of UFC. Hovadipo 1 Quote

Didn't know how all that worked. That would've been 3 VERY high profile BG parents. White, Snoop, and Zimmerman's mom. :) Dalton26 1 Quote

Dalton26 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 "In no particular order, he listed his possible destinations as Arizona State, Arizona, UCLA, Oregon State or LSU. Cordell plans to choose one of those schools on Signing Day on Feb. 4. One notable omission is USC, a football program his father closely follows, and where Cordell's cousin, DeShaun Hill, played defensive back from 2000–2002. "I'm a fan of the school, but if you're going to try to get a 17-year-old kid," Snoop said, "you've got to sell him the dream that all the other schools are selling, you know what I’m saying? You can’t tell him that your father's a great fan of the school … He doesn't give a damn about that." Just got that from an article. Looks like UCLA is still in. Article from Dec 16. http://m.thepostgame.com/blog/phenom/201412/cordell-broadus-football-receiver-snoop-dogg-bishop-gorman-las-vegas Quote

Most sites are still picking him to go to UCLA Just what I read on Rivals. Most of those guys are pretty well connected with a certain program, especially in California for some reason. But multiple USC and UCLA ppl said that they do not think they will accept a commitment from him. He must be real trouble to have ran those two schools off of him. And this is not coming from mods on rivals, just posters on the Main Board. But these dudes follow football recruiting like it is religion, but are also crazy as hell, so take it for what its worth. Dalton26 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 So just rumors then because even the most recent recruiting articles on him have him receiving interest from both schools still That article I posted was from about 2 weeks ago and still says UCLA is after him. I've been searching too and nothing I've seen says that either school isnt after him. The closest to that is snoop saying USC can't bank on the fact that he's a fan. bnkepner 1 Quote
