Gotta love Hartman's hustle but his D might be the worst out of the bunch. He is a victim of over helping on every play. I am tired of seeing him running a full sprint to his wide open man on the other side of the court and running by him. He doesn't put his hands up. Also Stan Robinson honestly adds nothing to this team.

 

We are up by double digits but we aren't looking too great 

 

Stan is the poster child for "addition by subtraction".

A while back, someone posted the OOC schedule we had during the Final Four season with Davis. In those days it wasn't unheard of for us to play only 4-5 home games before January. Crean's non-conference win total would probably be halved in that environment.

That was an interesting half of basketball. We live and die by the three. We started 5-9... Finished 2-11. Yeah, we chucked 20 threes! A couple of the shots, although fairly open, were a bit rushed.

Defense wasn't good enough.

I was hoping we'd see April. Maybe in the 2nd half?

Its not like we are the only ones. Look at all the top teams, they play tons of cupcakes. Wisconsin plays a tons of cupcakes as well. They even it out maybe by playing Duke or someone else. Take Lousiville. They have a worse SOS than we do

This is freaking embarrassing. Crean needs to put the scrubs in and see if there’s ANYONE on this team who can and will play defense. I am so sick of seeing these crappy teams drive the lane for easy layups.
