I just hope Hoosier Nation stands up and claps for this kid when he is announced. He made a small mistake that had huge consequences. But he has owned his mistake and has never shied away from taking the blame. I hope he is welcomed with only cheers and excitement on Thursday. I always play the scenario over in my head if Emmitt had picked them up an hour later, he wouldn't have blown anything on the breathalyzer. But this is how it is and I hope he can forgive himself. Glad Devin and his family are supporting him. Has to be hard not knowing you're going to college until the last minute, then bonding with guys who have been there all summer, then trying to make a decision to help out a teammate.
