IU vs. Texas Southern Official Game Thread

How does Texas Southern compare to MVSU? Should we expect tougher competition?

They went to the tournament last year. So I would guess tougher competition. Seems like they got a lot of transfers from bigger schools.

If they were not on bench for last game I dont think they will b for this one. Time will tell

Might not be a bad idea to put them on the bench for tonights game and get whatever reaction the fans will have to them over with and behind us.  I don't want any sort of uneasy feeling during or before the SMU game.

possibly. My guess is r fans will support them but the continuity of playing together is what I think will b the real problem

Non-conference schedule the year we went to the championship game under Davis was absolutely brutal. This schedule is probably why we were battle tested come tourney time. Notice the lack of cupcakes.

UNC-Charlotte (they were a perennial tourney team back then)

Alaska Anchorage (cupcake)

Marquette

Texas

@ North Carolina

Southern Illinois (Sweet 16 team that year)

Notre Dame

#15 Ball State (Ball State was ranked 15?!?! Must have been the Bonzi Wells days)

Miami (FL)

Kentucky

Eastern Washington (cupcake)

#23 Butler

Louisville

I cant believe with all the problems we have had in the last few weeks and all the people calling for r coaches head and with how exciting this teams first game was we have people concerned with Mike davis entrance and hoping he gets applauded. I think he will but all I care about is that he gets destroyed in the game

I guess i never really looked at it like that, I just think people are hyped up about him coming back, although we have our problems i think folks are just looking for anything to move past it

Look who's first on the court!

Collin has the confidence flowing from behind the arc right now. I hope he keeps it up.

Those were the days. The non-conf that Knight had in his last couple years was pretty tough too compared to what most schools have nowadays.
