IU Hoosier41

HIGHLIGHTS: Indiana 94 - Northwood 70

Recommended Posts

Yeah Bubble,

when a player can score from all 3 levels, inside from the drive, mid-range, and from distance THEY ARE DANGEROUS!!!

That is Blackmon's game and potential. We are blessed he is a HOOSIER!

The three best Indiana ballers I've seen live in HS were:

1. Oden
2. Jeffries
3. Blackmon

Lyle, Bluiett, and Conley are just outside my list. Never saw Cody live and in person unfortunately. Although admittedly if they ended up as Hoosiers, my list may be a little different.

I saw Blackmon several times on AAU and Luers. I've only seen Lyle and Bluiett on AAU teams. Also effects my judgement.

Either way, BLACKMON is special!

I think JBJ may be a better college player than Gordon.

Gordon was great and all, but I don't think he met expectations at IU. And please note that I said COLLEGE player (not pro).

I can see that, Eric didn't bave as many scorers
Around him besides DJ though..

Sent from my iPhoney. Yo.

I disagree. My recollection is Gordon was having a great year until he injured his wrist, and then of course the Sampson ordeal didn't help anyone. IU was on course to win the conference and be a Final Four contender, with Gordon leading the team in scoring.

Gordon was great and all, but I don't think he met expectations at IU. And please note that I said COLLEGE player (not pro).

I really think JBJ is going to be great but just to play devils advocate,Isn't he playing against the same D2 talent that The Z man is in these games?

If that fact tempers expectations for Z so much why not for Junior? Is it possible that  Z is better than the detractors think or are both their numbers inflated a bit at this point.

.I think a little of both.

I would say because JBJ has many more scoring abilities than Z so yes his numbers may drop a little against better comp but I don't think they will by much. I think he is a 16ppg player. Nick will be like Hulls in that department. He will have some bigger games due to being a recipient of good ball movement where he can rip the net.

I expect Blackmon to be good, and I wouldn't draw anything from this exhibition other than he can tear up DII competition.  Same is true for everyone, I wouldn't draw much seeing as we played DII competition.
