Yeah---it makes you wish we could play them early before they figure out how to close games. We don't get them at home until 2/15 WayneFleekHoosier and HoosierAloha 2 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Upset alert---Notre Dame ahead of 4th ranked and unbeaten Virginia by 1 with about 8 minutes left. Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Pitt falls 71-62 to Clemson at Home Georgetown loses on Road to Providence in OT. SOS problems. Edit. However Butler knocks off visiting Xavier. rebelhoosier848891 1 Quote

rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I was rooting for Notre Dame against Virginia-----was hoping they would give them the L! Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 The Butler win over Xavier helps our strength of schedule. Xavier had just upset Seton Hall----so that was a quality win for Butler. Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 It was also great see Remy Abell play well in the loss to Butler. He was the leading scorer for Xavier---I think he finished with 15 points! IUsafety 1 Quote
bleedhoosier Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Good for Remy. I see on Kenpom our defensive rating has improved to 177. It's bad but I like how that number is improving against solid competition. Our best basketball is ahead of us. Hopefully that osu game shows them the key is locking in on defense to pull the wins and close games. MSU was an anomally. Feeling good about the team after what we have saw thus far with Nebraska and OSU. Quote
bleedhoosier Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 So the OSU win means we may be shooting for 3rd with MSU in the conference?? I actually think the next tier is Maryland/IU/OSU/MSU but no UI without Rice. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote
bleedhoosier Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 If we can snatch up PSU and hold off a hyped up Illinois team for 3 in a row u can pretty much lock up the tourney bid. Now to get a decent seeding Quote

Now to get a decent seeding We need you on the selection committee. Giving out bids with one half of the B1G is somewhat optimistic. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
